Christian Education
Christian Education at New Hope Baptist Church is the foundation for all teaching initiatives within the church. It provides opportunities for spiritual growth, biblical understanding, and faithful living. Under the leadership of Sis. Kathie O. Clark, the department equips individuals of all ages with knowledge rooted in God’s Word and empowers them to live by biblical principles.
With a range of programs and ministries, the Christian Education Department fosters discipleship, strengthens faith, and nurtures spiritual development within our church community.

Programs and Ministries
Sunday School
Sunday School offers a welcoming space for individuals of all ages to explore Scripture, grow in their faith, and connect with others. Classes are tailored to meet the spiritual needs of each life stage and are held every Sunday at 9:30 AM.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Vacation Bible School is a vibrant annual event that brings the church and community together for a week of engaging learning, fun, and fellowship. With interactive lessons, music, games, and crafts, VBS creates a memorable experience for participants of all ages.
The Stewardship Institute
The Stewardship Institute equips participants with biblical principles for managing time, talents, and resources. Through workshops and practical training, individuals learn to honor God in all aspects of life as faithful stewards.
Membership Training
Membership Training welcomes new members into the New Hope family, teaching foundational Christian beliefs, the church’s mission, and the responsibilities of membership. This program ensures new members are prepared to grow spiritually and serve faithfully within the church community.
New Hope Teachers Institute
The New Hope Teachers Institute is a comprehensive training program designed to prepare Bible teachers for Sunday School and other church educational initiatives. Participants are equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to effectively teach and inspire others through God’s Word. This training is scheduled as needed by the church and focuses on building confident, knowledgeable, and spiritually grounded instructors.
Commitment to Child Safety
We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for all participants. All volunteers working with children are trained and background-checked to ensure their safety and well-being.
