Henry M. Clark Scholarship Ministry

Henry M. Clark Scholarship Ministry supports New Hope’s high school graduates, undergraduate students, and graduate students by providing financial assistance and resources to help them achieve their academic goals. Since its inception, the ministry has helped countless students pursue their educational aspirations, fostering brighter futures for individuals and the community. Inspired by Proverbs 4:7, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting, get understanding,” the ministry integrates faith and education to uplift and empower young scholars.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a scholarship, applicants must:

Be an active member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Meet the criteria established by the Scholarship Ministry Committee.

Scholarship Criteria and Applications

Applications must be submitted through the links below for the 2025–2026 school year.

Applications are accepted year-round but will only be reviewed twice a year by the committee: in June for the fall semester and in early January for the spring semester.

Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.

The ministry offers quarterly workshops on topics such as financial aid, college admissions, essay writing, and pre-college preparation. Students and families can sign up to participate in these events and access additional resources for academic success and personal growth.
